The Climb December Free Update Detailed; Introduces Oculus Touch Support and Major Expansion

Today, Crytek announced that its free update for The Climb this month will introduce support for Oculus Rift’s Touch controllers, offering players the freedom to climb VR cliffs with far natural hand movements that mirror real-world climbing.

Additionally, December’s free update will also bring with it a brand new setting for everyone who owns a copy of The Climb, with wintry landscapes inspired by Iceland. The Climb‘s North location features snow-capped peaks, distant volcanoes, and a batch of new and fresh challenges for players to get to grips with as they attempt to scale new heights.

Furthermore, the new update will also introduce leaderboards and new player customisation options with a range of accessories designed specifically for The Climb‘s latest setting.

The Climb is available now for PC with Oculus Rift.
