Sony Brings Back The Demo Disc For PlayStation VR Launch, Includes 8 Playable Games

Every purchase of PlayStation VR will come with a free demo disc, containing samples of 8 virtual reality games, Sony has announced.

Introduced through PlayStation’s official magazine in the nineties, the demo disc allowed PlayStation gamers to sample released games without having to purchase the game blindly.

The eight selected games include Evolution Studios DRIVECLUB VR, EVE: Valkyrie and Rebellion’s Battlezone.

Below is a full list of available samples with every PSVR Unit:

  • DRIVECLUB VR – Evolution Studios
  • PlayStation VR Worlds – LONDON STUDIO
  • RIGS Mechanized Combat League – Guerrilla Games
  • Tumble VR – Supermassive Games
  • Battlezone – Rebellion
  • EVE: Valkyrie – CCP
  • Wayward Sky – Uber Entertainment
  • Headmaster – Frame Interactive

In addition to the recently announced demo disc, PSVR will also come with a free download of Japan Studio’s The Playroom VR which features 6 games designed to be played with friends or family.

PlayStation VR launches October 13th at a price of £349.99.
