Salvation, the fourth and final DLC expansion pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III will arrive first on PS4 on 6th September, with other next-gen platforms to follow, Activision has announced.
Following on from past content Awakening, Eclipse and Descent; Salvation will bring an end to Treyarch’s epic Zombie origins saga with its final chapter – Revelations, along with four new action filled multiplayer maps Citadel, Micro, Outlaw and a reimagining of World at War map Rupture.
“Without a doubt, this is the most epic season of DLC that we’ve ever created for fans of Multiplayer and Zombies,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head, Treyarch.
“With the release of Zombies as an Easter Egg in 2008’s Call of Duty: World at War, Treyarch set forth on a journey – or, really a conversation – with fans and Revelations is the final punctuation mark,” added Jason Blundell, Director of Zombies, Treyarch.
Salvation is available right now for pre-order on PlayStation 4 at a discounted rate via the Call of Duty: Black Ops III DLC Season Pass, which also features the three previously released DLC Packs. In addition, players who pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops III Salvation for PlayStation 4 will receive an exclusive Revelations dynamic theme.
