Rise Of The Tomb Raider On PS4 Gets October 11 Release Date, PSVR Support Included

Rise of the Tomb Raider will arrive for PlayStation 4 on October 11th 2016, Square Enix has today confirmed.

To celebrate 20 years of Lara Croft, Square Enix will release Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration this October, with a new chapter entitled “Blood Ties”, which features VR support for PlayStation VR as well a new co-op Endurance gameplay. PlayStation players will receive all previously released DLC including Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, Cold Darkness Awakened as well as 12 DLC outfits, 7 DLC weapons, over 35 Expedition Cards, and more. A Limited Edition of the game will also feature an art book.

All new content for Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will be available for Xbox One and PC players, with VR support the exception. Season Pass owners on Xbox One and PC will receive the content for free automatically. Rise of the Tomb Raider on PS4 will not feature a Season Pass, as all content is included in the initial release.

“The studio is celebrating with all Tomb Raider fans, thanking them for being on Lara’s 20-year journey with us,” said Scot Amos, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics. “The team has packed in surprises, new story, and the top-requested special features into this 20 Year Celebration edition.”

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Edition on PS4 is available October 11th 2016.
