Overwatch Takes Advantage Of Recent Price Drop To Reclaim No.1 Spot In Latest UK Sales Charts

Following a recent price drop, Blizzard Entertainment’s FPS Overwatch has reclaimed the No.1 spot in the latest UK sales chart standings. It is the fourth week since its release that Overwatch has claimed the top spot, after knocking Uncharted 4 from the coveted crown back in week 21.

According to Chart-Track, Overwatch has now spent more weeks at No.1 than any other Blizzard game.

In all, it’s been a great week for Blizzard Entertainment with World of Warcraft‘s latest expansion Legion making a solid debut at No.3 despite sales falling short of previous expansion – Warlords of Draenor. Sales for last week’s No.1 Deus Ex: Mankind Divided are down 72% from last week as it falls a place to No.2.

The bulk of the top 10 remains the same as the previous week with F1 2016 falling two places to No.4, while sales for Grand Theft Auto V continue to remain steady (No.6) and No Man’s Sky‘s stock continue to plummet as Hello Games Sci-Fi saga drops a further 4 places to No.7.

Recent retail promotions help push both Disney Infinity 3.0 and Rock Band 4 up the charts to No.11 and No.27 respectively. Notable new releases include The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition which debuts at No.17 with Bandai Namco’s God Eater 2: Rage Burst entering the charts at No.21.
