Layers Of Fear coming to Xbox One Preview on Friday

One of the creepiest and highest-rated games on Steam, Layers of Fear will be arriving on Xbox One’s Game Preview this Friday, the news was announced a couple weeks back and now we have a confirmed date for the terrifying psychedelic horror title. Layers Of Fear is centred around a deranged painter who returns to his 19th century style home to finish his magnus opus, but not all is what it seems as he slowly descends into utter madness.

We had the chance to chat with Rafal Basaj of the Bloober Team about Layers Of Fear recently, you can check that out HEREwe also played and previewed the game which you can also check out HERE.

This Friday players will be able to buy Layers of Fear as a Game Preview title on Xbox One. Similar to Steam’s Early Access, this version of the game will let you unearth some of the games horrors before the final release. Overall Layers Of Fear is around 80% complete and is already polished, players will get around 2-3 hours worth of gameplay from Game Preview. With upcoming updates mostly focused on bug fixes and adding additional content.

Layers of Fear received an Overwhelmingly Positive review rating of 97% on Steam based on more than 1500 voices. So if you’re a fan of jumpscares or if you’re simply looking for a great little game to play this Halloween, be sure to check the game out when it launches on Friday. Layers Of Fear may still be in development but there is plenty to get your teeth into this Friday.
