Gears of War 4 Campaign Locked at 30fps, Multiplayer Will Be Silky Smooth 60fps

During an interview with GameInformer, Rod Fergusson, the head of studio The Coalition, confirmed that Gears of War 4 will run at a native 1080p resolution, limited at 30 frames-per-second during its campaign on Xbox One. Luckily, The Coalition sees the importance of the Gears of War multiplayer and will run at a silky smooth 60 frames-per-second.

In addition, Rod Fergusson was also questioned about whether we would see a PC release of Gears of War 4, considering Gears of War: Ultimate Edition very recently made its way back home to the platform. Rod Fergusson answered with a lengthy, “possibly.”

A plethora of Gears of War 4 news has been released as of late, so feel free to check out more on the game’s narrative and extra details here.
