Quakecon 2016 is well and truly underway in Dallas, Texas with Bethesda unveiling new gameplay trailers for both Quake Champions and Prey.
Bethesda kicked off the conference in style with the reveal of a new gameplay trailer for the recently announced Prey reboot, developed by Arkane Studios (Dishonored, Dishonored 2). Narrated by main character Morgan Yu, the new Prey gameplay trailer takes us through a space station with brief glimpses of the game’s monsters as Yu struggles to come to terms with his surroundings.
Prey is scheduled for a 2017 release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, check out the gameplay trailer below.
In addition, we also got a glimpse at a new gameplay trailer for Quake Champions along with some additional information. We learned that the Quake Champions will enter Closed Beta in 2017, with attendees at Quakecon getting a first look at an exhibition match this coming Saturday during the Quakecon Finals.
id Software Studio Director Tim Willits shared information about abilities for four of the games champions -Ranger, Scalebearer, Nyx and Visor, with four additional champions also announced including the confirmation of a return for fan favourite Anarki.
