Yesterday Origins

First Yesterday Origins screenshots unveiled at Gamescom

Microïds and Pendulo Studios have unveiled their first screenshots for adventure game “Yesterday Origins” which is due to be released on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac.

“Yesterday Origins” will be presented for the first time to the media at Gamescom, the biggest European video games convention of the year starting next august 5. In anticipation of the event, players will be able to discover the first images of the version currently in development. Coded in full 3D , the title will keep the very identifiable cartoon graphical touch that made the studio so successful for over 10 years (the “Runaway” saga, “The Next Big Thing”…).

“Yesterday Origins” will transport the hero John Yesterday and his life partner Pauline, across the globe but also History as it unfolds alternately to modern and medieval times. The game begins when the young John gets imprisoned for witchcraft by the Spanish Inquisition, just before the events that will change his life forever. The players will enjoy crossing one more time the road of some of the first episode’s protagonists. But “Yesterday Origins” remains fully accessible to people who have not played the original “Yesterday”.
