F1 2016, Coming To Xbox One, PS4 And PC In August Will Support 22 Player Multiplayer

F1 2016, coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on August 19th 2016 will feature multiplayer support for up to 22 players on track, Codemasters has announced.

The latest title in the motorsport series will allow for a full grid of 22 players across the entire Formula One race calendar including popular tracks like Silverstone, Monza and Monaco. “Increasing the multiplayer support to 22 players was extremely important to us,” said Lee Mather, Principal Games Designer at Codemasters “We want to be able to fill the whole grid with human players to create those great race moments and stories. It also provides greater support for online leagues”.

Additionally, F1 2016’s single-player campaign or ‘Career Mode’, which runs for a duration of 10 full championship seasons will offer players the chance to create their own legend. A new trailer showcasing the new feature can be seen at the bottom of this article.

An F1 2016 Limited Edition is also available and comes with a Career Booster DLC Pack, giving players a head start as they venture into the life of a Formula One driver, the pack also includes an exclusive Career Helmet and Laptop designs.

F1 2016 is available August 19th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC (DVD).
