Dead By Daylight Sells 270,000 Copies In First Week, Still No.1 Game On Steam

Asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight has sold more than 270.000 units during its first week since release, says Starbreeze AB.

Released on June 14, 2016, Dead by Daylights first week sales recouping Starbreeze’s development costs and beyond, the game has also kept its No.1 position on Steams sales charts.

Dead by Daylight is a survival horror multiplayer game in which an unstoppable killer hunts four survivors through a terrifying nightmarish world in a deadly game of cat and mouse.

“We couldn’t be happier to release Dead by Daylight as our first publishing partnership together with Behaviour” said Bo Andersson Klint, Starbreeze Studios CEO. “With this launch, we’ve proven that the concept we’ve developed with our own PAYDAY-franchise, can be replicated and utilized for other games. Taking the game to different events and seeing it on the top 5 most streamed titles on Twitch has been a thrill and a real ticket to the games success as a spectator friendly game. We look forward to seeing the game evolve and thrive in the community.”

The standard edition of the game is available for purchase at $ 19.99/€19.99 while the Deluxe Edition is available at $ 29.99/ €29.99.
