Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Won’t Feature Co-Op Campaign, Single Player Only

Activision has confirmed that Infinity Wards, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s story campaign will be a single-player only experience and will not feature any kind of cooperative play, recently seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, has today reported.

The announcement see’s a return to single player for the franchise after Call of Duty: Black Ops III allowed for up to four players to play together cooperatively through the story campaign. Activision also revealed that co-op play will be restricted to Zombies mode only.

Developed by Infinity Ward, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare introduces stunning, never before seen environments, new weaponry, and inventive player abilities to Call of Duty. The entire campaign – from boots-on-ground combat to piloting high-speed space-fighters – occurs as a near seamless experience with few visible loading times, and delivers the hallmark, blockbuster franchise moments that fans love.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches November 4, 2016 on PS4, Xbox One and PC with pre-orders of the Legacy Edition coming with a copy of Modern Warfare Remastered.
