Ark: Survival Evolved Will Launch For PS4 Early Next Month; Increased Resolution And Framerate On PS4 Pro

Studio Wildcard has revealed via a Q&A stream that its open world adventure Ark: Survival Evolved will finally launch for PS4 early December, with a full announcement coming soon.

Long since released into Steam Early Access for PC and Xbox One last year via its Game Preview Program, Ark: Survival Evolved will perform similarly to the Xbox One according to the developer and will feature PS4 Pro support with increases to both framerate and resolution.

Additionally, Survival Evolved will not include support for PSVR at release but is something Wildcard will look at after the games release, with the creators also not dismissing the possibility of cross-play in the future between consoles and PC.

Ark: Survival Evolved will be available digitally at first with physical copies coming later.
