Dublin-based independent studio Pewter Games has announced that it will bring hand-animated Adventure game The Little Acre to PC, Xbox One and PS4 later this year.
The Little Acre is quoted as being a “merge of classical Don Bluth animation All Dogs go to Heaven with the magical wonder of a Hayao Miyazaki world”. A graphical adventure set in 1950s Ireland, The Little Acre follows the story of Aidan and his young daughter, Lily, who while investigating the sinister disappearance of Aidan’s father find themselves transported to a strange new world populated by bizarre creatures.
Pewter Games has enlisted the help of British video game designer Charles Cecil as Executive Producer for The Little Acre. Cecil’s previous work includes Beneath The Steel Sky and the Broken Sword series.
