Mass Effect: Andromeda Launches March 21st in North America, 23rd in Europe

Mass Effect: Andromeda will release March 21st in North America and March 23rd in Europe for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, developer Bioware has announced via a blog post on the official Mass Effect website.

The developer revealed a release date ahead of its appearance at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) later today, where it will show off a new gameplay trailer for the highly-anticipated fourth entry in the popular sci-fi series.

Andromeda is the hotly anticipated follow-up to 2012’s Mass Effect 3, which saw the conclusion of Commander Shepherd’s story, an ending that left fans of the series disappointed. Launching late March, Andromeda will feature a new story, characters and all new crew.

We last caught a glimpse of Mass Effect: Andromeda during last December’s The Game Awards with a first look at gameplay for the upcoming title.

Better known as RzrsS in the video game scene, Stephan Rodts has been playing video games for nearly his entire life. He started out shooting poor ducks out of the sky in Duck Hunt on the Nintendo, but now shoots everything that moves. Be warned.
