Stealth, Trivia and all out Mayhem

Gaming has felt kind of rushed these days. Trying to get games done on a deadline can make the game feel slightly rushed but then I’m used to that with renting my games, I always wanted them done fast so I would make the most of my money. I’ve actually still have a few games here still, Shadow of Mordor, Call of Duty AW and Saints Row 4/Gat out of Hell. They’ve been sat for months as I’ve had no time to play them. I have no clue why I haven’t gotten round to sending them back yet.

Call of Duty just needs the multiplayer achievements done and I haven’t managed to find someone to drag me through that yet. Shadow of Mordor I unlocked one achievement and Saints Row has buggy achievements. Playing mostly arcade games for review bar Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has been fun as most aren’t that long to finish. The only time I struggled was racing Fruit Ninja Kinect up and I really hurt my arms chopping thousands of fruit so ended up not being able to type properly for a few days after, or doing anything else (don’t even get me started on squeezing toothpaste of the tube..ouch) Was such a fun game though.

Tower Of Guns

Tower of Guns kept me occupied for a while. It was so hectic. You are literally surrounded by enemies so at times it can impossible to dodge them all. Flying saws, bombs and cannons everywhere. It was pretty fun but two of the achievements are bugged so it prevented me from fully completing the game. It was designed as a lunch break game, a short game you can complete and go back to whenever you wanted. It definitely works like that. It’s button mashing for a shooter. Jump and shoot, jump and shoot. The Robots were cute though.

At the moment I’m currently working on Stealth inc 2 : A Game of Clones and I have to say, I’m not very good at this at all. I get lost, crushed and zapped with lasers. I want to save the cute little Clones so bad, I don’t like the screen doing black and a little face with green goggles disappearing into the background, but figuring things out and platforming have never been my best assets. I push myself through Rayman because I grew up with it and it brings back very fond memories.

I gave myself a break from struggling through games to quickly finish Monopoly Plus and Deal before moving on to Trivial Pursuit Live with yet more bugged achievements for me, not really been my week achievement wise. It was nice sitting there seeing all that gamerscore pop though. I’m nearly on 350,000 and I did want to make my goal 400,000 by the end of the year but I don’t know if I’ll manage it.

Website wise, I’m really happy with how our new look has turned out. I know it still needs a lot of work and our 150+ pages moved from our last host but I really hope you enjoy what we have done so far. We are looking for news writers, so if that’s something you’d be interested in let us know!

Hope you all have fun in your many gaming adventures!
