Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End to Introduce Survival Co-Op Mode Next Month; New Trailer Released

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will get a new Survival mode featuring cooperative and solo play next month, Naughty Dog has announced.

Survival will be a wave-based mode where players and additionally 2 friends can engage swarms of increasingly powerful enemies and unique objectives.

If you played Co-Op Arena from Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3, you’re going to feel right at home in Survival. We’ve built upon and evolved the core gameplay experience with an entirely new level of depth, challenge, and variety. From new enemy types and powerful new bosses to a dedicated progression system and expansive upgradable arsenal, Survival is all about strategy, camaraderie, and skill,” explained Vinit Agarwal of Naughty Dog.

Survival will consist of 50 waves across 10 maps, where players will face off against Shoreline mercenaries, heavily armoured Brutes, Snipers, Hunters and more with enemy difficulty increasing over time and an intense boss battle introduced every 10 waves.
