Deep Silver today announced a November 18th, 2016 release date for Tripwire Interactive’s bloody co-op sci-fi horror FPS, Killing Floor 2, coming to PC and PS4.
A collaboration between Tripwire and Iceberg Interactive will see the deluxe content of Killing Floor 2 included in both PC and PS4 versions along with the full game for £29.99, 39.99€.
Killing Floor 2 follows on from the events of Killing Floor, taking players into continental Europe where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech’s failed experiment has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum, essentially paralyzing the European Union.
2009’s Killing Floor proved to be both brutal and bloody, but that apparently wasn’t enough for the developer who continues to ramp up the gore factor in Killing Floor 2 with a proprietary, high powered persistent blood system bringing new levels of fidelity to the genre. Players will send entrails, severed limbs, and blood flying as they wade through hordes of enemies. But they need to watch out! If caught, enemies will rip them, and their entire party limb from limb.
