The Park announced to be heading to the Xbox One and PS4 in 2016

Funcom, the developers of Steam title ‘The Park’, a single player psychological horror experience have announced that the game will be heading to the Xbox One via ID@Xbox and Playstation 4 in the first quarter of 2016. ‘The Park’ has a huge success after it’s launch on PC during Halloween. ‘The Park’ will be Funcom’s first console release in almost 10 years. 

Funcom CEO Rui Casais had the following to say regarding the announcement;

“Encouraged by the positive reactions we have received on the Windows PC version, we are very excited about bringing it to consoles, exploring a dark, sinister and frankly terrifying location from the comfort of your sofa, with the lights turned off and controller in hand, is sure to be a very rewarding experience.”

In ‘The Park’ players step into the shoes of Lorraine, a mother whose son goes missing at the Atlantic Island Park. Here players must explore the dilapidated amusement park and face panic and paranoia as they progress unravel Lorraine’s story and the history of the park itself.
