Silent Hills Cancelled

It would appear that Konami’s latest Survival Horror game, Silent Hills have today been officially cancelled. After Hideo Kojima’s split from publishers Konami, Director Guillermo Del Toro was asked about Silent Hills at a San Francisco Film Festival, he responded by saying “It’s not gonna happen and that breaks my greasy heart” The Directors friend Matt Hackney reiterated this is in a later tweet.

Walking Dead Actor Norman Reedus also echoed Del Toro later that day on Twitter.

The news came after it was announced that the Silent Hills PT was to be pulled from the Playstation Marketplace at the end of April.

At this moment Konami have yet to make a statement regarding Silent Hills. but as of this moment it would appear the project is dead in the water.
