SEGA and Atlus today announced that the two will share a show floor stand at E3 this year, with a host of playable games announced including Yakuza 0 and Sonic Boom, while Dawn of War III will also feature in a behind doors presentation.
Yakuza 0, which will be playable at the shared E3 stand will be the only SEGA Europe game featured while Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice will also have 15-minute demos available.
SEGA will also showcase futuristic strategy epic; Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III at a behind door presentation, which will also be available at the PC Gamer Show on 13th June while Sonic returns to E3 2016 with Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice, which is playable on the stand along with the forthcoming dragon hunting RPG tale, 7thDragon III Code: VFD.
SEGA will also show off the mean streets of 1980s Tokyo with Yakuza 0, before fast forwarding to modern day Japan and a world where the ordinary clashes with the extraordinary, in the hotly anticipated ATLUS title, Persona 5.
“Over the last few years SEGA have acquired Relic Entertainment and ATLUS and the results are evident now, with what is one of the strongest line-ups we have had at E3 for quite a few years,” said Jurgen Post, COO For SEGA Europe Ltd. “Being able to show Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III to the world’s media for the first time, while allowing show-goers to experience hugely popular titles like Yakuza 0 underlines the direction the business is moving in.”
