Runescape Developer Purchased by Chinese Mining Company for $300 Million

The Financial Times has reported on Runescape developer, Jagex, being bought by a Shanghai-based Chinese mining company for $300 million.

It appears the company is looking to diversify their business by approaching different fields in order to maintain overall profits and recover their current annual losses, due to China’s slowing economical growth.

It’s still unknown what Shandong plans on doing with Jagex.
