Rogue Invader

Rogue Invader begins Kickstarter Campaign

A short while back we had the pleasure of interviewing the guys at Squishy Games about Rogue Invader, a exciting PC Action Shooter game which, at the time of the interview was in the middle of a Steam Greenlight campaign, since we last spoke, Rogue Invader has now begun a Kickstarter Campaign with the guys looking to raise $20,000 by September 17th 2015.

Rogue Invader

Rogue Invader is completely designed using 1 Bit Graphics and takes place in outer space on a distant planet, which is home to the Zeno’s, very similar to that of Alien. There are 1 million Marines at players disposal and one overriding theme, don’t come back until you’ve won the war!. In Rogue Invader, death is permanent, every single Marine players take control of can be customised and with items salvaged from the planet, new weapons can be forged and even named. The game is set completely in black and white and pays homage to some of the great games of years gone by.

I recently had the chance to play the Alpha Demo, below are some highlights from my experience.
