Take-Two Interactive Software’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick has revealed that developer, Rockstar Games are currently hard at work on some “exciting future projects” that will be revealed soon.
Zelnick made the comment following yesterday’s announcement of Take-Two Interactive’s yearly financial results, where it was also revealed that Grand Theft Auto V had now sold over 65 million units. Looking forward Take-Two Interactive’s CEO stated, “Fiscal 2017 is poised to be another strong year for Take-Two, with anticipated Non-GAAP earnings in excess of $1.00 per share. Our diverse lineup includes the new intellectual property Battleborn, which we released earlier this month, and the eagerly anticipated upcoming launches of Mafia III, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, NBA 2K17 and WWE 2K17. He would finish off by saying, “Rockstar Games is of course hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon.”
While it is unclear what projects Zelnick was directly referring to, rumours of a possible sequel or pre-sequel to Red Dead Redemption have been touted heavily this year, with stealth action title, Agent another distinct possibility.
Rockstar Games will attend this year’s E3 in Los Angeles, CA in June.
