PS2 Classic Ape Escape 2 Now Available On PS4 In European Store

Sony’s classic 2002 PS2 title, Ape Escape 2 is now available for purchase on the PlayStation Store in Europe.

The company has made a habit of releasing PS2 games onto PS4 without prior announcement since introducing its emulation feature last year, with Rockstar’s The Warriors the most recent example.

Originally launched in 2002, Ape Escape 2 is a platforming game developed by SCE Japan Studio, taking place directly after the first game in the series.

PlayStation Plus subscribers can pick up Ape Escape 2 for £5.99 with non-members priced at £7.99, it is unclear when the game will become available for North America users.
