Could a The Last Of Us 2 Announcement Be Coming At PlayStation Experience 2016

It’s no secret that a sequel to Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us would more than likely happen at some point in the near future after the overwhelming success of the 2013 PS3 title and today, known insider Shinobi602 hinted that an announcement for TLOU2 might not be too far away.

Responding on NeoaGaf to a user touting The Last of Us 2 to be announced during Sony’s E3 presser in 2017, Shinobi206, who has a habit of correctly predicting future announcements and unannounced games quoted, “Maybe you don’t have to wait that long“.

Sony will host its PlayStation Experience 2016 in Anaheim, California in a little under two weeks, where it is expected to make some big announcements in addition to showcasing some of its upcoming titles including PS4 exclusives God of War, Zero Horizon Dawn and Days Gone, and so it wouldn’t be out of the question for the publisher to use the big event to announce a game of the magnitude of The Last of Us 2.

Of course, this is pure speculation at this point so take the previous information as always, with a grain of salt.
