PlayStation Makes Jump To Windows PC, Dualshock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor Coming September

Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe has announced that from tomorrow (August 24th) PlayStation Now will be available with Windows PC in selected countries throughout Europe, with North America to follow soon after.

For the first time ever players will be able to play AAA titles such as the Uncharted series and God of War along with PS3 classics like The Last Of Us on Windows PC with the PS Now App.


Players can download the PlayStation Now Windows PC App to gain instant access to an ever-expanding library of over 300 classic PlayStation titles on Windows PC.

Below are the specifications for running PS Now on your PC:

  • Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
  • 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
  • 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
  • Sound card; USB port

Sony also unveiled its new product the Dualshock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor, which will be available September 15th at a retail price of €24.99/£19.99. The Dualshock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor will also be compatible with both PC and Mac, allowing players to use their Dualshock 4 controller when accessing PlayStation Now on their computers.

The Wireless Adapter can also be used with PS4 Remote Play, with installation easy via a free to download application from which is compatible with both Windows PC and Mac systems.


PlayStation Now will be available in the UK, Netherlands and Belguim on August 24th, will more countries to follow soon.
