Pace Ace Marco Reus Selected To Be FIFA 17 Cover Boy

After a long fortnight and a staggering 3.1 million votes, Electronic Arts has announced Borussia Dortmund and Germany International superstar winger, Marco Reus has been selected by fans to be the cover athlete of FIFA 17.

Pacey winger Reus, currently plying his trade in the Bundesliga for Borussia Dortmund beat off strong competition from Anthony Martial, Eden Hazard and James Rodriquez of Real Madrid to replace FIFA 16 cover athlete Jordan Henderson and become the global focal point for FIFA 17.


Reus is a highly-decorated winger, and is widely regarded as one of the most dangerous attackers in Europe. Reus was named Footballer of the Year in Germany in 2012, and has 29 appearances with the German National Team. Reus was also recently named captain of Dortmund, and will be wearing the captain’s armband in the coming season.

FIFA 17 is out September 27th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
