New 1080p Screenshots for Tom Clancy’s The Division showcase Dark Zones and New York City Streets

New screenshots have today emerged for Tom Clancy’s The Division, which is due for release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on March 8th 2016. The gorgeous brand new 1080p screenshots showcase New York City, the game’s location as well as the Dark Zone, zones, that are separate from The Division’s main campaign, allowing players to fight head-to-head with the possibility of losing vital items if they’re killed. Other screens released feature environments from inside the game such as a Mall and the tight corridors which are sure to be hot locations for firefights.

Tom Clancy’s The Division Game Director Ryan Barnard explained a little about PVP Dark Zones:

“It’s another one of the great ways that we’re really changing up what’s been done previously in this genre,” he said. “We want PvP to be important. A lot of times it’s hard in a mainstream game it’s hard to get people…people are a little averse to it, it can be a little freaky; it’s generally very competitive. There’s this added layer of, potentially, you can be engaged at any time from another player. So what we really want to do is bring the fun components of PvP in other games in this genre and others; try to make the mechanics more positive so you never really are punished.”

Tom Clancy’s The Division launches March 8th for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
