Masterpiece of Horror, Layers Of Fear full release coming to PS4/Xbox One and PC in February

Polish development studio Bloober Team have teamed up with Austin-based Aspyr Media to market and distribute Horror title Layers of Fear across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in February. Launched onto STEAM’s Early Access last year and followed by a release onto the Xbox One Game Preview Program a couple months later, Layers Of Fear follows in the footsteps of a deranged painter who revisits his victorian style mansion eager to finish his masterpiece in grisly fashion. Since it’s release on Early Access, Layers Of Fear has received a positive rating of 97%.

Aspyr Media’s vice president of publishing, Elizabeth Howard had the following to say regarding the new partnership with Bloober:

“As soon as we got our hands on the game via Steam Early Access and saw the ravenous community feedback, we wanted to be a part of sharing this game with the world,” said Many game developers pour their blood, sweat and tears into creating great games, but the folks at Bloober Team brought a new meaning to this term while creating Layers of Fear. It’s truly been a blast working with a group so dedicated to the craft of beautifully scaring the sh!t out of people, and adding in our own flavor of insanity.”

Piotr Babieno, chief executive officer at Bloober Team followed up with:

“We can’t wait to finally show the world the full scope of our masterpiece of fear,And we’re glad that there are other people who share our enthusiasm. Working with Aspyr is pure pleasure! They immediately got what we were trying to achieve with ‘Layers of Fear’ and happily dived into our world of madness.”
