HITMAN GO: VR Arrives For Oculus Rift And Samsung Gear VR Today

Square Enix Montréal today announced that Hitman GO: VR Edition, it’s turn-based puzzle strategy title is now available for digital download on both the Samsung Gear VR and Oculus Rift.

Following on from HITMAN GO’s February release on PlayStation 4, HITMAN GO: VR Edition has been reimagined with the open space, comfort and accessibility for VR in mind, with head-tracking movement, simple, intuitive controls and an abstract yet immersive VR environment that paves the way for a completely new and refreshing HITMAN experience.


The game features all 91 levels, including all content updates Opera, Airport and St. Petersburg boxes. There are also no in-app purchases. HITMAN GO: VR Edition is available for Samsung Gear VR for $7.99/7.99€/£5.99 and Oculus Rift for $9.99.

Head of Studio at Square Enix Montréal, Patrick Naud spoke ahead of the release of HITMAN GO: VR Edition “Following Hitman GO’s successful release on mobile, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Steam, the VR release feels like a natural progression for the title. He would finish by saying, “By embracing this new platform, we can provide gamers with a richer level of interaction with Hitman GO’s beautiful board game aesthetics and physicality at a level of immersion we’ve never been able to achieve before.”
