Ahead Of Its October 11th Release For Xbox One And Windows 10 PC, Gears Of War 4 Goes Gold

Ahead of its worldwide October 11th release for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, Gears of War 4 has officially gone gold, Microsoft has announced.

Gears of War 4 will be the first title in the series available in the Xbox Play Anywhere program and will be available simultaneously for both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Additionally, the latest installment in the popular franchise will also support Cross Play between Xbox One and Windows 10 PC in all of its game modes.

This has been a real homecoming for me,” said Head of The Coalition Rod Fergusson “Coming back to Xbox to lead a studio of talented people from around the world, all focused on Gears of War, and doing so in my home country of Canada in one of the best cities in the world for technology and entertainment has been a dream come true.”

Ferguson  was celebrating the major milestone alongside Head of Xbox Phil Spencer and Microsoft’s Board of Directors, who had travelled to the Microsoft Canada Excellence Centre in Vancouver, B.C., to help mark the occasion.
