GAME forced to apologise over Super Mario Maker orders

UK Video Games retailer GAME have been forced to apologise after many customers were charged for multiple copies of Super Mario Maker for the Wii-U. In some cases customers looking to purchase the highly anticiptated Nintendo title were charged for 7 separate copies despite only ordering 1 copy of the game. After receiving many complaints from understandably angry and bewildered customers, GAME were forced to apologise and admitted that they planned to fix the error by this evening.

Super Mario Maker + Amiibo Limited Edition is priced at £46.99 with the online video game retailer, however some customers have been charged for multiple copies with some charges reaching the £300 mark. Angry customers took to social media to vent their frustration at GAME, below are a select few of those Tweets, from the swarm.

Customers have taken to cancelling their pre orders, which in some cases has meant the loss of the Limited Edition Amiibo figurine, which came with the pre order. Mario AmiiboGAME aim to have all refunds paid back by this evening but even this morning customers were continuing to be overcharged.

Super Mario Maker releases this week for the Wii-U though some GAME customers probably won’t be receiving the game.
