Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 Announced for Xbox One; Gets New Screenshots and Trailer

The sequel to fruit chopping Kinect arcade game Fruit Ninja is coming exclusively to the Xbox One on the 18th March.

Now bigger and better than ever following the success of the first game, Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 will feature brand new multiplayer modes allowing up to four players to jump in on the action. Battle and party modes let you bring out your competitive side with all new unlocks rewarded for completing challenges.

The game keeps everything you love plus five new modes for the whole family to enjoy with each mode taking place at the Blueberry Moon Festival which is presented by the new Fruit Ninja Kinect team members, Katsuro, Mari, Han and Nobu. Players are now able to hack bamboo, dodge Shurikens and avoid spotlights for stealth and to become the ultimate Ninja.

Halfbrick is very proud of the announcement and released the following statement:

Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 will cost $14.99  and is rated E for everyone. Below are some screenshots and a trailer that were released today.
