DOOM’s Free Update 3 Will Introduce Deathmatch And Private Matches, Coming In September

Bethesda has announced that the next update for DOOM – Update 3 will arrive in September for Xbox One, PS4 and PC and will include the introduction of Deathmatch and Private Matches for the bloody first-person shooter.

Deathmatch will introduce free-for-all mayhem to DOOM’s fast-paced multiplayer, while Private Matches allow players and friends to create private multiplayer matches where you select the maps and modes. Players will also be able to adjust settings like the time limit, score limit, or turning demons and power weapon off or on.

Players can check out a teaser below for a glimpse DOOM‘s upcoming new content. Additionally, tune into a special Twitch livestream on Tuesday, September 13th at 7pm BST with id Software’s Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin.

DOOM is available now for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
