Controversial title Hatred gets release date

Destructive Creations have certainly had some ups and downs when it comes to their upcoming title Hatred but the wait for fans is almost over. Hatred will be available to play for gamers who pre ordered from the 29th of May with the official game release date being the 1st of June.

Creative Director of Destructive Creations Jarosław Zieliński released a statement for the game,

We would like to thank all our fans for their great support during the time of Hatred’s production. Thanks to your votes, tons of e-mails and spreading the word on the web, we gained a lot of visibility, new followers and finally managed to finish the project! – said Jarosław Zieliński, Destructive Creations Creative Director. We have a big surprise for everyone who trusted us and decided to pre-order the game. You will not only be able to download the game from Steam on May 29th but most importantly to actually play it! This means three days before the official release! And we hope you’ll enjoy it massively!

Hatred was controversially pulled from Steam last year with Valve stating,

“We wanted you guys to know that based on what we see on Greenlight we would not publish Hatred on Steam.  As such we’ll be taking it down.”

The following day Valve Co-Founder Gabe Newell sent  Zieliński a message issuing an apology and reinstated Hatred back onto Steam,

Hi, Jaroslaw.
Yesterday I heard that we were taking Hatred down from Greenlight. Since I wasn’t up to speed, I asked around internally to find out why we had done that. It turns out that it wasn’t a good decision, and we’ll be putting Hatred back up. My apologies to you and your team. Steam is about creating tools for content creators and customers.

Good luck with your game.

Hatred is an isometric shooter with a disturbing atmosphere of masskilling, where player takes the role of a cold blood Antagonist, who is filled with hate against humanity. It’s a horror, but here YOU are the villain. Wander the outskirts of New York State, seek for victims on seven free-roam levels. Fight against law enforcement and take a journey into the Antagonist’s hateful mind. Gather equipment of the dead ‘human shields’, to spread Armageddon in the society. Destroy everything on your way of hunt and fight back when it’s disturbed…
