After the recent successful console premieres of pirate-themed Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart and steampunk Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink, the Polish studio, Artifex Mundi will now follow with the detective-adventure Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek on Xbox One.
The game takes place in a small town in the middle of nowhere – Maple Creek, Vermont, USA. The main character wakes up in the evening in the middle of a road and the only thing that she can be sure of is the fact that a powerful storm has passed over the town. She can’t remember what has happened in the past few days. The chilling shivers running down her spine hint at the dramatic events that have taken place. This is the beginning of a bloodcurdling story.
Like in the previous games, the HUD in Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek has been revamped to fit the console steering. Thanks to the improved interface, the game will play more comfortably on bigger screens. It’s the longest Artifex Mundi Xbox One game yet, with up to 8 hours of gameplay, including the extra adventure that is unlocked after the main story has been completed.
Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek will be available in Europe and the United States for 9.99 EUR and 9.99 USD, respectively.
