Amazon Japan Now Internationally Ships Games

The stressful procedure of importing Japanese games is now over!

Amazon Japan has announced that they will start internationally shipping games across all platforms, allowing gamers to truly put those region-free systems to use.

Yes, I know importing games has never really been a huge problem, however a huge retailer like Amazon could push developers to further improve their games, help them discover overseas demand for unlocalized games, and add other languages to Japanese-only games to help smaller developers reach wider audiences. All while providing a much safer service for gamers to order in games across the world.

In order to import through Amazon, you will need to create an amazon.jp account, then switch to your preferred language.

To save you the time, the PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One are not region-locked. You will be able to purchase games from other countries and play them on your system as you would with a game you just purchased from your local video game store.
