Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Most Talked About Game Of E3 On Social Media W/ 573K Tweets

After a breathtaking few days at the Convention Center in Los Angeles, E3 2016 officially draws to a close today. With a huge number of gamers soaking up the atmosphere, taking in the many future titles on show from Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo throughout the event, a social media frenzy ensued with fans taking to Twitter to discuss the various games on show.

Social Media outlet Twitter has been taking a look back at the most talked about titles from the conference following a week of press conferences, gameplay reveals, ‘behind-the-scenes’ sneak peaks and hands on demo’s, compiling a list of the top most talked about games from E3 2016.

With a whopping 573,000 Tweets, Nintendo’s Zelda: Breath of the Wild was the most talked about game throughout the expo, more than double the number of mentions for its nearest rival Battlefield 1 and four times that of FIFA 17 at No.3. Sneaking in at last place is the remaster of fan favourite Crash Bandicoot, announced during the Sony Press Conference. Check out the full list below.

Last year, there were nearly 84 million Tweets about gaming in 2015 in the US alone, according to Crimson Hexagon.
